query on pair of satellite's tonight

did anyone see the pair of mag +2 sat's that travelled seemingly from overhead heading towards nne horizon past taurus/aldebaran tonight - thursday 3rd jan - at about 10:13 PM ACDST - they faded at about 25d from horizon, but as i had binocs as was looking for comets, and observed them for a little while longer, I have seen tethered pairs/triplets/quads sats before, but they are usually a lot dimmer and from dark skies only.
anyone tell me a little about these?
cheers
