NGC 1532+1531 Galaxies in Eridanus

Hi Guys,
Well 2 days ago we actually had some clear skies with the cloud breaking up just on sunset. Got ready and crossed my fingers that the low cloud and fog would stay away just long enough to get a descent image or two!
Luckily it did so I set my sights on something near the meridian when I was ready for action.
Seeing only average but quiet transparent. Couldn`t find my intended galaxy by star hopping so this was next to star hop across too!
Ok image is 14 x 7min at iso 800 with my 300D and 6" newt. Autoguided with a toucam and PHD. Stacked in DSS and finished off in PS.
Came out ok but being a rather warm night had lots of noise to deal with and remove so I would have lost some detail because of this.
Glad to get some clear sky as its been a while!
All comments most welcome!...
cheers Gary

Very nice shot, gary. You must be pleased with it as it shows a lot of other faint fuzzies as well.

Excellent image, great colour and detail.. nice and smooth. I don't see any noise problems so your processing must be very good if you were having troubles with noise

Niiiice!

Eridanus and Fornax are my favourite hunting grounds. Virgo comes a mere third!

Unusual shaped galaxy Gary. One that's not often imaged.

Really good detail and clarity . Really like it !

Another great image Gary. You have been able show these faint interacting galaxies in good detail and nice colours.

As a newbie I don't recall having seen an image of these two galaxies before or even been aware of their existence - so you have expanded my knowledge for today. It has even made me do some net-surfing to find out a bit more... well it is a slow day at work today.

Thanks everyone for kind comments.....
Was very lucky to get a patch of clear sky for about 4 hours. there was cloud north and to the east but stayed clear overhead.... I was very lucky!!
(the first clear sky for 2 weeks and has been raining ever since).
I havn`t seen many images of this galaxy around so it was good to image something a bit different! I just wished these faint fuzzies were a little bigger..
cheers Gary
