NGC3324 in colour mapped narrowband

Hi All

NGC 3324 Gabriela Mistral Nebula in colour Mapped Narrowband
Ha:SII:Ha:OIII 30:30:30:30min (10min subs). Ha bin 1. SII and OIII
bin 2 Total image time of 1.5 hrs.
Taken on GRAS G15, PME, RCOS 10" OTA, ST8XME. AP0.67 FR

This was taken with as little exposure time as possible to show GRAS
customers what can be done without spending lots of money.

LOL, well thanks. It was taken remotely over the internet, the scope is near Renmark in SA, its a lot clearer there ;-).

Good work Fred. 'bout time you posted something too. A pleasing image, though I like the mapped colour version which Brad produced of this target. What's with all this data scaling business. Stop fooling around and get a bigger nabg chip dude. You'll probably get half of it back in tax. Anyway, keep it up. Need to see more.

Thanks Guys, the colours are a bit wield but they seem to work.

I was asking for that comparison with Brads Jase, but you might have noticed that his exposure time was a measly 36 hours !!! (vs 1.5hrs);-).

Im looking forward to prices on SBIGs new back illuminated CCDs..............
