Maybe clear tonight!!

After thunderstorms and rain all week, it may be clear tonight..

Still forecast for storms this afternoon, but after they clear away it might clear up overnight.. the forecast for tomorrow morning is clear so it's giving me hope!

Having huge withdrawals with this weather! Predictions aren't good for the next 5+ days either!

Good luck Mike, hope you have clear skies for a week, seeing the Moon has nearly racked off.

Yes. Good luck, Mike.

We're supposed to get a couple of OK nights this weekend, but then that cloud mass moving across the country should arrive by Monday.

I hope you get some great images. Mars is cherry ripe!

Good luck Mike, I not sure what it's doing down here. Half the sky is clear and there are storm clouds filling the other half.

I think the clouds might win.

Have a good night

Smile Can thinking about buying cause clouds too?

Hi All

I'm almost on the verge of buying a scope, so I'm sure I'll keep the rain flowing in Brisbane over the next few weeks...

Though, saying that, It looks like its clearing here in New Farm

Is it worth setting up sky is clear, but clouds in the west, but they seem to be moving south west. It would mean first light finally for my G-11 and Borgs.

Regards.

Oh, well, that's all right then!

The clouds are coming from the NE here which means your sending them my way, Mike! ...but since you seem to have plenty, that blows any conspiracy theory out of the water... Must be just overflow...

Al.

It's clearing here in Brisbane. Although there's a fair amount of breeze and the star twinkle is pretty bad.

Might set up and see what the night brings.

The sucker holes are big enough here to warrant setting up.
Hope I don't fall asleep in the mean time.

From looking at the various JS maps...it looks like tomorrow night, through to Sunday night could be quite good here in SE Queensland.

We just need the cloud to stay away

I might be lucky, still a stiff breeze so it might blow them away.

Just been out for a look, will I or won't I set up. Have to give it some more thought. Big cloudbank moving SE, but don't want to attract it this way.
Nothing to the West, but clear to the east and southeast, unfortunately that is where the brightest street light in coota resides. Think my next purchase is gonna be a silenced .22
