Lightbridge 12"

Hi All,
Ok, The 4 main rings on the LB dob, they obviously need to be Matt Black, some say powder coat , some say spray paint. Does any one have any opinions on this subject. I figure while I am waiting to get my Argo Navis I might take care of a few mods.

Regards Peter

Powder coating will be more permanent than paint and stand up to more wear and tear, especially if you are pulling it apart often for transport.

Peter,
I painted mine initially. Even though I took care in the preparation of the parts and used quality paint, the rings still chipped after a short period.
I then had them powder coated, and 18 months later they still look brand new, even after a lot of use.
