Horse in a rush

Finally, a sniff of clear sky.
I took this last night through the 10" with lightning lit skies and wandering cloud.
10min subs Dk subtract -no flats yet more details and processing to follow.
Auto guide & nothing but MaximDL
Cheers

Horse In A Hurry Redone

Hi All
OK this is what I think is my worked final image. The process, as best I remember is as follows. I was in a meeting at work –nearly caught twice.
Camera control, guide and processing done only with MaximDL
Sub-images
-2x10min IR filter
-1x10min unfiltered
-1x10min each of RGB (two G’s were taken due to cloud -1 rejected)
All images dark subtracted and flat fielded
IR and unfiltered added for Luminosity
Combined to colour as 1R:2G:2.5B and 100% lum
Colour adjusted –not sure by how much
Added to itself
Softening filter applied
Cropped and double size for final image

Not very scientific, but colour images are only for art sake, and I’m happy with it.
