Seeing Alert for Thursday Morning

Hi all,

hopefully this will lead to some nice mars and saturn images...........even though that bugga mars is soooooooooooooooooo low from down here in tassie!

Will be interested if Bird and Mike get on shore air streams???

yes that is the only problem.....the seeing might be great, but the clouds may make it a bit hard!

raining and thunderstorms here tonight...

scope and stuff is still in bits as I work out how to mount it all on the new beast, if the weather is good tomorrow should be finished ready for tomorrow night.

I'm out amongst it.. Seeing is reasonably ok.. not great but better than it has been recently.

Especially since the sky is actually clear! Beautiful and clear. A bit dewey, but a nice night to be out in it.

The seeing may slowly be improving.. at least, the red channel is starting to look better on Mars.

Here's a random raw red frame from a recent avi.

Moon next.. then Saturn, then Venus.. if I can stay awake.

Ok Moon done, Saturn mostly done. Don't think i'll get to Venus.

Don't think i'll be getting any sleep either Lucky i'm working from home today.
