New star for Xmas

You ain't seen a star quite like it. About 30,000K and a high content of highly ionised oxygen.

Merry Christmas from Tesladownunder.

Wow - what a stunning website and incredible hobby you have. Loved all the stuff I saw there; very, very impressive indeed.

Cheers

Awesome stuff..... physics in action.
Just read your liquid nitrogen section - we once put some dry ice in a plastic soft drink bottle.... when it exploded it sounded like a howitzer firing!

I hope you have good neighbours..... as their TV reception might be less than desireable during the display.
Not to mention that your hair must stand on end....

I once had a mate who tried to make a Tesla coil.
He kept "blowing up " these huge Capacitors and believe me they went off with a huge bang.

Well done, it is great to see someone with a bit of immagination to take Science to a different level.

Keep it up.

Well, in 3 days this photo scored 80,000 hits to my website and is on perhaps 20 or so sites already but expecting many more.
Will shoot a segment on this for Discovery Channel Canada on Saturday and have had press interview for the UK press. Also looking for an Aussie TV station to take it on.

In answer to other comments.
Reception is noticable in the neighbors TV but total runs in a night is perhaps 10 mins.
Hair doesn't stand on end. That requires DC like a van der Graaff generator.
