Thank you for your comments for my Tarantula image.
iceman: Someone else also like the structure you speak of. We thought it looked like a hole in the nebula being blown by stellar winds ?
The new 2" APO field flattener/ certainly looks good, do your stars come out perfect near the corners ?
Dennis: I agree, I spent quite sometime just wandering through the hi-res image and saw many little things I not noticed before (like the almost perfectly coloured yellow star - right in the middle of that small compact cluster at lower left of centre.
Alchemy: yes it could be a bit over saturated. I find this sometimes is relevant to which monitor you a using. I work in an IT Department where we have over 400 users and I can certainly say no one image looks the same on any two monitors, on some monitors the colours seem poor and other monitors the colours seem rich and vibrant. On some monitors the image appears too bright and others it appears too dull.
Garyh: I did mention to Santa there would be plenty of others interested in such a 'scope. He said ssshhhh, there only a brand new model and most others still don't know about it.
tornado33: Yes Scott, certainly had to mask the core of the image - I used photoshop to do that.
Lee: I never knew you were a Novocastrian. I checked out your web site: nice start!
Thanks all !
