CLOUDS Grrrr

I would just like to put it on the record that
I AM SICK OF THE CLOUDS!!!
I wouldn't mind if it would rain and make a job of it but the continuing grey is so frustrating.
Thank you all for listening

Newcastle is just a patchwork quilt of sucker holes..... good enough to do a bit of drifting, not much else..... Forecast through to Sunday is showers/wind or both!

I looked up how much rain I have had here this month so far and it totals a great 7mls and with the constant clouds. Make it rain properly to fill my dams and I wouldn't complain.

Had a lovely clear day down here and I was getting quite optimistic until around 4pm when the clouds started to roll in.

Hi Guys

In the 12 months of astronomy I had in the UK prior to migrating to this land of gold and green with warm climes and celestial treasures sparkling aplenty, I think I only managed to get out with my scope less that 10 times in that year.

In the summer it was still evening twilight right up to around 11:00pm with dawn twilight appearing around 3:00am. Winter was just clouds – low, miserable grey clouds with the odd clear night arriving with temps at -12°C, so in my case, I really don’t think that I can complain – just yet!

Cheers

Dennis

Now that sounds like weather to complain about!!!

Yeap as soon as there something extra special to view you can expect total cloud cover!! and when new gear arrives you might as well stay in bed! I was lucky to get a quick glimpse of comet Holmes through the clouds but has been c*** since..

Needed the tube shortening a little bit so my 32mm EP will come to focus with the diagonal, thats done but.... TOTAL CLOUD AGAIN ! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Same grey clouds up here too, though it is finally raining at least. It looks as though I might be able to get out next week, and if it's still cloudy well, I'll go fishing.

Hey Terry!
Well...i feel your pain!

You now know why they call it the "NEW ENGLAND" up here!!!!!!!!

Whenever we get a large amount of cloud, with or without rain, from a passing low, the clouds tend to move from WEST to EAST....then we get the dreggs, like a backwash, of cloud....moving LOW and fast from the EAST to WEST.....when this happens it brings light..misty...crappy...nuisance rain with it!

bit windy here too. Just got home from work and thought about taking the 10" mortar launcher out but the wind is a worry. And if its windy, the seeing will be shiessemahausen aswell.

A family member said this today to me. They are starting to understand the sadistic nature of the weather!
