Nice pic, eh?

This is a FIRE RAINBOW – one of the rarest of all naturally occurring atmospheric phenomena.
This picture was captured recently in an area on the Idaho/Washington border.
The even lasted about 1 hour.
The clouds have to be cirrus ; at least 20 000 feet in the air with just the right amount of ice crystals and the sun has to hit the clouds at an angle of precisely 58 degrees.

wow that is pretty cool DJVege , have taken a few colourful cloud shots in the past but that fire rainbow is a real winner
