Moon in colour

Spent last night imaging, first cloudless night for a while. I decided to dust off my 10inch Newt. Image is a bit grainy, comprised of 10 frames @iso800 - 1/400th sec - Canon 350D.

Excellent colouration Steve, and very sharp.

Perhaps a tad too oversharpened (a bit grainy in parts) but very well done.

Probably did oversharpen a little to bring out detail in this small web image. I got the iso wrong on the posting as well, it was actually shot at iso100 so I was surprised by the graininess after stacking but I did like the colour.

That's probably why the Chinese have just sent something to the moon ay ! There goes the mineral boom here in the West !
