Jupiter with Ganymede Shadow

Shot with spc900 and 2x barlow. Pretty ordinary but I hadn't seen a shadow transit before so that was pretty sweet.

Hey Mark,

i don't know but i love this shot.
Jupiter seems so naturally. And the belts have nice colours and merge pretty smooth.Although it looks sharp.

Well done,

greetings

Nicely done Mark, I've forgotten what Jupiter looks like!

Great photo Mark. I was looking at this event last night with Jupiter over the roof of our house at around 40 deg altitude, and it was literally boiling in the eyepiece with the relatively low altitude, ordinary seeing and thermals from the roof.

Cheers

Dennis
