LX90 Package - Price Reduced!

Up for sale is my 8" LX90 UHTC 'Classic' plus accessories and eyepieces.

Includes:

8" LX90 'Classic'
Telrad
TeleVue 'Shorty' 2" Visual Back
William Optics 2" Diagonal DIG2 97%
JMI NGF-SE Crayford Focuser
Celestron f/6.3 Focal Reducer/Corrector
Meade Standard Wedge w/LX90 adapter
1rpd ST80 30mm 2" UWA Eyepiece
TeleVue 16mm Nagler Type 5

Package Price: $2750.00 plus delivery.

Without eyepieces: $2400

I have owned the LX90 since new (2003). It is in immaculate condition. Pristine optics with possibly a spec of dust or two on the corrector. Goto pointing accuracy is spot on. The original Meade finderscope, 1.25" visual back and 1.25" diagonal are included. Comes in all original packaging.
The JMI Crayford focuser is the original model with set screws. It comes with 2" barrel adapter. The WO diagonal has some fine scratches on the metal side plates, and some set screw marks on the barrel. The Celestron focal reducer has a tiny nick on the threads were you screw it onto the scope (it was there when I bought it) and so only screws on about half way. It doesn't seem to affect it's operation or stability. The wedge is the older model without the deluxe latitude adjuster.
The eyepieces are what I would call 'minty'. No marks or defects of any kind. A few specs of dust maybe. Both come in original boxes with caps & papers.

Total replacement cost would be around $4600.
I will deliver free to most parts of NSW & Victoria, otherwise shipping is at buyer's expense. Selling to make way for new scope.

Thanks for looking!

Cheers,
Mark

I wish I didn't own an LX90 so I could buy this one - that is a great price for a scope with UHTC.

mark maybe an idea - chuck it on ebay as a 10 day auction with heaps of pics and a really good description and emphasis the replacement value and set the bidding off at $1. that way heaps of people get interested in it and there's a bidding frenzy towards the end. I reckon you'd get your $$ or more that way.

ebay is the last resort, but if it hasn't sold by the end of the week, that's where it will be going!
