Moon & Jupiter, 16 Oct 07

Couple of shots of the Moon & Jupiter today, taken with Canon 400D at 55mm in 18-55mm kit lens. Ist in blue sky, in full auto mode - crop with no adjustments. 2nd is at night, manual mode with manual focus, 1/5 sec, F/5.6, ISO 800. Antares in bottom left corner.

I took a few widefields with foreground trees & hills during dusk, but they were all duds (bad focus) .

Cheers -

Nice images Rob, they were a nice visual sight.. I was looking at them from Luna Park while whizzing around on the mouse rollercoaster

Hi Rob

Nice photos – well done. I was out looking at this pair but got lost in the telescopic and then naked eye views and just simply didn’t think of taking any photos!

Cheers

Dennis

nice images peoples - we had a southerly come through which ruined the view. It was nice while it lasted.
