Question Power rating...HEQ5

Hey guys,

I know the HEQ5 takes 12VDC. But I don't know the Amp rating.. I have a celestron powertank which has 2 x 12V DC outputs, at 10Amps??? Is that ok? Do the amps matter here?

Thanks. Getting ready to drive up to AstroRon's!!

No, as long the voltage is correct and the power supply can deliver sufficient current (the Eq5 would draw a couple of amps at most). Say hello to Ron for me.
