A month flies by!

Wow, time flies sometimes..

Around this time a month ago, we were all getting excited about the Total Lunar Eclipse!

And now it's gone! *sniff*

But a distant memory now.. like Comet McNaught..

at least we have the images to remind us.

Funny, I remember seeing a show (Qantum?) a few years ago about this subject. Basically as a set period of time becomes a smaller percentage of your lifetime, it appears to go faster. It sort of like 1% of you life always appears to take a percieved amount of time to pass.

I remember when I was at primary school, the holidays seemed to go on forever, 6 weeks is a big part of your life when you are 10 years old. Now I am a little older 6 months appears to go about as quickly and represents a similar percentage of my life.

And yes, it doesn't seem that long ago we were all going out nightly to catch the comet! I think it is about time we had another one! I am not aware of any "big things" happening for the rest of the year. Can't wait for the next issue of Astronomy 2008 to see what is on the "event horizon".

The observer affects the observed. While sleeping time appears to go by very quickly because we are unconscious of time.

My Lunar images are yet to be processed, have to find the time to learn how to do layers.

Regards
Fahim
