Just saw the centre of M31 (Andromeda Galaxy)

I finally managed to pick out the centre of this great galaxy. It is very low in the sky (18 deg.) and my scope was pointing through the pool fence. My northern sky is very light polluted complete with street lights, but I managed to star hop to the centre of M31 and I could just make out the barest of smudges with averted vision. I'm happy now.

Good stuff Andrew!

The harder the target, the more we get a buzz from it. Well done
