I recently finished a project to put together a mosaic of the complete Milky Way (both Northern and Southern hemispheres). I used 1000 'images' to produce the final result. Here are the results......
Oh by the way, it's a jigsaw!!!
Even better is that it is a glow in the dark jigsaw. The second image is a stack of 5 images using Registax.
