Does anyone know how to set language for this nice bit of free software. I downloaded it tonight but cant see how to set English as the language in any of the menu windows,I just joined Iceinspace today Looks like I might enjoy this community

Hi,

Look for the spanner icon (4th from right?). There is a language option in there.

Hi sso click on the small spanner symbol at the bottom of your screen when running stellarium.
The configuration window will pop up and you can choose a language of your liking.

Thanks for tip re posting in right forumI'm still lost ,, yes I recognise the spanner Icon sesm to allow options but all the text chacters on the screen seem to be written in Klingon I dont know how to select anythingNovice mode ONany more advice ?CheersSSO

Click the first tab in the popup box (language).
Move the slider in the first box down untill you see english and klick on it.
Next box is for everything else and you can do the same with this box.
