I have one, soon I'll have two. The latter coming off a Saxon both are
setup for 8" f/6 and have holes for focusers and spiders...etc... With the
Saxon tube I'll even throw in the mirror cell but you would have to wait
awhile for that one to come available. You can have them for free, if you
pay the freight.

Let me know if your interested and I'll post pic's for you to see. I'm up
near Casino, northern NSW.

regards,CS

re: tube

Hi Rob

Sorry about the delay.

I'm interested in them and f6 is ok for me. I do have an old 8" mirror cell I was thinking of using but always on the lookout for more stuff!

Could you upload photos? Any idea of freight costs to Canberra?

Thanks

Andrew

Hey Andrew,

No worries I'm in no hurry, if you want one you'll saved it from becoming
a chimney for a brick BBQ lol.

The white tube is said to come from an old Edmunds telescope. it has
an outside diameter of 254mm. It has a 1.25" focuser that would make
better use as a sinker for a fishing line but I will throw it in. The weird
looking clamp on the side must of been used to hold the finder scope, lord
knows how they managed to align it. I still have the mirror and mirror cell,
spider with secondary mirror for it.

The black tube is the one that will be available soonish you might
not want to wait for it to come available. I have included a shot of the
cell that comes with it. it has an outside diameter of 230mm and will be
stripped of all the accessories you see still attached.

Wouldn't know what the postage would be at this stage, wont be in town
again until Tuesday/Wednesday. If your still interested I'll take it in and
get a quote.

regards,CS

Thumbs up re: tube

Hi Rob

No worries. Let me know postage and I will send you the address. When you want to part with the other one, let me know as this is a bit of a cloudy night hobby at the moment.

Thanks
Andrew

Andrew,

sorry it has taken awhile to get back to you. Aussie post wont let it go
through the post as it is too big. As there is no couier service close, if
you still want it you'll have to arrange that for yourself.

250 diameter x 1200mm x 5kg and coming from Coombell, let me know
by the weekend or I might have it available after that.

regards,CS
