Jupiter tonite

I took these pics of Jupiter about an hour ago, just before the GRS went round the corner. Considering the scope size (110mm), I'm quite pleased with the detail.

Very nice (and a nice change from the eclipse shots). It's getting increasingly hard to image Jupiter this late in the apparition and you have a good bit of detail there.

Nicely done Geoff. A little bit dark on my screen but you've done a great job on the contrast detail, especially to bring up the moon without blowing out the planetary detail.
