I just assumed it was the volume of traffic as members and guests were accessing the site to get their nightly fix and Lunar Eclipse details?

Cheers

Yes, the server was brought to its knees at around 7pm, as almost 1400 people were online at the one time accessing IceInSpace information.

We'll need to upgrade the server before the next big event. We upgraded after Comet McNaught but the volume of traffic yesterday far exceeded what we experienced in January.
