Eclipse sequence with a surprise

Hello All!

I've been visiting Ice In Space for ages now, and finally decided to join.

Please find attached, a sequence of images taken during the lunar eclipse on Tuesday.
First time in the field for the new imaging set-up, I think it has great potential!

The aircraft was an added bonus which made the evening perfect.

Cheers!

Fantastic sequence Rob, and great plane transit!

Nice to see you join up, too.

What equipment did you use for these?

It's great to be a member of this fine group!

The plane transit was a fine example of being in the right place at the right time...

The equipment I used was fairly basic:
ED80 on an EQ4 mount.
EOS 400d in prime focus controlled by a notebook running FocusAssist.
Edited using Photoshop lite, supplied with a Canon G2 I've had for years!

Cheers,

Rob
