Hi guys.
Had a productive imaging session on Friday night, 3rd June 2005. Coming into winter, the seeing has been really good so i'm pleased to have been able to take advantage of it.
This image is better than my
previous best, I think.
Details:
- See the image for most details
- Capture settings: 5fps, 1/33s exposure, 10% gain
- FL approx 3100mm, with 2.4x barlow pulled out and ToUcam pulled out. I need a 3x barlow!
Processing:
- 149 frames stacked in registax
- Other details shown on the image
- I did a pass through one of the avi's without using ppmcentre, so I could capture the moons Io and Europa. Because they spent much of the avi out of the FOV, I was only able to stack 45 frames.
- I also included the R, G and B separated (in AstraImage) images which shows some nice detail, and a (good) raw frame, for comparison.
Comments and feedback welcomed, here's the image.
