Probably the pick of my shots - thin wispy cloud didn't help, but am quite happy with this one. Taken through the 200mm Dob with the D70. Exposure 1/125 at ISO 400 I think.
Yes Houghy - cloud was a pain....
I'm not overly happy with any of my totality shots - problems with clouds, focusing through DSLR viewfinder (even with Hartmann mask) and getting enough exposure.... came out noisy after boosting exposure enough to really see much.... not too bad though I don't think.....
Can I ask a moderator to change the title of this thread to "Total Lunar Eclipse from Newcastle" please.... now that I have a totality pic in it..... looks a bit silly otherwise..... cheers
