The Whole eclipse (umbral) from Mildura

This won't be the best, but I thought it'd be the first with the whole eclipse - wrong! Still, I think it shows that even a humble 200mm lens on an SLR can be of some use. The image needs a bit of tweaking really, but here it is anyway.

Thanks! In the old days it would have been multiple exposures, and very hard. However, in the modern age I did of course cheat and assemble the separate shots into one image.

It's great seeing all these pictures go up so quick. I'm very jealous of those that could take pics from their 'scopes. The view through mine was amazing, but I had to be satisfied with a standard camera lens for photos.
