Plato and Alpine Valley Widefield

Well had a go at my first "stitching" this morning.

It's not perfect, as I had a poorly aligned mount, but the 2 x Barlow on my 12.5" works an absolute treat especially when the seeing is average.

Definetely will be doing a lot more of this.

Thoughts and comments welcome.

Beautiful work, John. I can still see a hint of the rille in the alpine valley, even at the lower image scale.

Very nice indeed, I like the jagged shadow of the peaks on the eastern rim of Plato on its dark floor.
