Hi
What is your "editor" set to in your User CP options?

Does the "Manage Attachments" button appear at the bottom of a new post, or when you click "Go Advanced"?

It says Enhanced Interface- full wysiwig editing, i have clicked save changes just in case.

Starting from top to bottom on the reply page after having clicked go advanced i see...title box, message box, smile stuff underneath message box, post icons box with no icons dotted, buttons for submit reply and preview post, further down show signature ticked, Parse linked ticked, disable smiles not ticked, attatch file types (no tickable box here),no subscription for notification of threads,a box for rating, below that a submit reply button and a preview post button,....Thats it.
sorry for taking so long to reply but i am looking forward to the answer.

Hmmm.... bit strange that. There is normally a button with Manage Attachments there. In your user options right down the bottom of the page what do you have selected for Message Editor Interface? Basic, Standard or Enhanced?

Sorry, in case you don't know you can get to your user options via the UserCP link at the top of this page. Your user option link will be in the menu bar at the left hand side in the UserCP page

I sometimes have this problem also. It is intermittent and only seems to occur when I use Mozilla. It will sometimes not display the pages with a background and makes it look like "printer friendly" page. I assume it is something to do with the cache saved. If I open the exact same page in IE it seems OK and the buttons to attach files is there.

Try refreshing that page with Ctrl+F5. Or Hold down control and press the refresh button on your browser. That should force the browser to reload the entire page.

This happens from time-to-time. The reason for it is a mystery. Seems to be the overly engineered vbulletin javascript.

Out of curiosity, when you are viewing posts by others that have uploaded images do you see a thumbnail in their post showing the image?

don't know what is going on there then. Maybe Terry will have some more brainstorms in the meantime.
