CCD Software

Hey guys.
I havent been imaging in quite some time, and ive been bitten by the bug again since ive discovered the Lunar eclipse which is happening soon.

I made a thread about the camera on this site. When i received the camera though, it did not come with any software. Since it has been such a long time in between uses, the mail account that had the attachment stored has since been inactivated. (I think the software was called QHY)

I was wondering if there are any other free alternatives that could tide me over till i save up enough to buy a commercial application.

Which model of the QHY camera is it ?.
If its a recent model, you can download the "Astrowin" software from QHY homepage directly.

that is a very old version (QHY1).
If you get in contact with QHY by email he may be able to help you locate an old program which he used back when they were sold.

would anyone know if any of the current driver sets would work with the QHY1 ?

Hi Entropy,

Head over to they software section of the QHY forums and you will be sure to get the right help there from the maker of the camera and other users.
The member QiuHY is the creator of these camera's and owner of the forums, he is very helpful and should be able to provide what you need. You can PM him as well as make a general posting, be sure to post a link to the website with your camera so they know which one.
