Best way to align a celestron 6se

Good evening Everyone

I have borrowed a 6se from my work for a few nights and I was wondering which method of alignment was the best for ease and accuracy? I'm having a good time just zooming around all over the place, but I would like to see how well the goto works. Would it be worth while changing to a high powered eyepiece when you go to finalise the alignment?

Cheers in advance

Gareth
