Starbook in Southern Skies

Hi Guys
this is my first post on IIS - thought Id say hello. Moved over recenlty from the Cloudy UK with an ETX125 and have since added an EQ6, a C11 (fantastic) and WO ED80 II. I live in the Southern Highlands and last year went to the SPSP which was good fun. So thats me and my gear then.
Done a lot of reading about the new Vixen Sphinx SXD with Star Book. All the support and info I can find seems to be a bit top heavy ie Northern Hemisphere. How well does the Star book work in Auz? I heard/read a few issues with screen brightness; atlas wrong way up; missing object lists Caldwell? Look forward to the feedback

Cheers
Eddy

Hi Eddy!

Welcome to IIS. There's quite a few ex-pat Brits here on IIS, so you're not alone!

I'm sure you'll love the Aussie skies compared with the rain and drizzle from the UK

I can't answer your question about the Star Book, but wanted to welcome you and look forward to your contributions.
