Shame about the color..Eta C

I am still trying to figure out how to work software so I play with this and that..the color I see as secondary because I really cant see it... I am color blind and it shows..

However in the interests of sharing experiences so others may get an idea..

This is the biggest 30 sec stack yet...52

or a 26 minute exposure with perfect tracking ... the first try I left out a dark..the hot pixies danced across the image showing the mount to be so out over 30 minutes ..yet at 30 sec bites I was able to grab a fair bit of detail ..I substracted a dark from nights earlier and it worked thank goodness..

the center could be better (its recoverable) but I cant mask yet with satisfactory results in this softeware ..its me not it .

Ran it thru noiseware for a silky finish

Green ??? thank goodness I thought it was a little to pink..
Well in that case this shows the high oxygen in the region.
So that means the other one must be pink or blue.. I am geting close I can feel it.

Sorry I forgot the details..
An old Meade 150sn 750mm focal lenght with a good focuser..on an unguided and poorly aligned eq6 mount.. unmod 300d 1600iso camera set to take 30 sec shots until I remember to turn it off.
Stacker deep Sky Stacker color enhanced in photoshop
Dark site good night
Yes I sortta knew it was off but the detail stands out for me ..I like the cloud structure I dont care what color...
I hope this gives heart to those who have poor mounts to see what 30 seconds may do for them..they can chose their own color scheme..

The mount has run 200 seconds unguided such that the stars are still round with this f/l but I have not stacked 50 at 200 seconds

Hi Alex, both images are very nicely detailed and very sharp as well, the tracking looks great.

I think the pinkish colour can be adjusted using the colours saturation section of your processing software. You may to play a bit with the RGB levels until you find the happy medium. I think it's pretty close so you probably won't have to tweek to much.

Cheers

Thank you Joe
Thank you Ric.
The tracking was horrible .. 6% approx of the field of view in the 30 odd minutes of capture..it was the soft ware that made it look well tracked.
I cant tell the colors Ric... I have to guess or get my daughter to tell me the green is gone.
I have been happy with the short exposure system..almost like planetary work.. it will make some old mounts very useful... I live for the day I can stack some really long runs that are sharp from up home...
I have a long way to go.

Nice work! The second one is allmost perfect, just a little too much green.

I know how it feels to be colour blind, I know many colour blind people.
