Hopetoun Falls

A couple of shots we took while on holiday 18 months ago

The Hopetoun Falls are in the Otway National Park part of the great scenery inland off the Great Ocean Road in Victoria

Lovely shots! There are some real scenic treasures in the Otways, aren't there?! Recently worked on an Otways-wide project, and had to visit many of the waterfalls. Phew, talk about doin' it tough - well, someone had to do it!

Cheers -

Beautiful shots, I love taking images of waterfalls.

I got a few of various waterfalls when we did the great ocean road in October 2005, but I don't think we did the Hopetoun.

Yes Hopetoun falls is lovely. The one I like the most is Beauchamp falls. Did you get to see that one? Its a fair walk to get there though as I remember.

Hopetoun was about a kilometer down from the carpark and to us coming back up it seemed almost vertical there was a lot of puffing and blowing and a few stops along the way. Didn't seem that steep going down

Didn't get to Beauchamp Geoff maybe next time.

Nice photo's Barb, it looks a very tranquil setting. Just the sort of place to sit for an hour or two and ponder.

I love those sort of places.

Cheers

Very nice Photography!!!

They would make terrific wall-sized murals in a bathroom or family room.

Ah, the waterfalls. Those pictures bring back some great memories. I grew up not far from there at a place called Simpson.

I once canoed from Beauchamp falls to the river mouth at Glenaire over two days, what a trip!!
