This is an 8 element design with an apparent field of view of 74 degrees. It is approximately 8 months old. The glass and coatings are in immaculate condition, the barrel does have a few scratches on it. Comes with two end caps. This eyepiece provides nice contrasty views and the extra elements are supposed to provide superior edge correction over a standard erfle (I havent done a side by side comparison so cant really verify this).
This eyepiece would be best suited to a long focal length telescope in my opinion. It is sharp over approximately 75% of the field in my f6 Newtonian then turns a bit ugly. MADE IN JAPAN
