Tv interference on channel 7 (prime) only

Hi Guys,
Maybe someone could enlighten me as to why we have program interference on our TV, but only on one channel, being 7.

We have two LG TV's one being two years old and the other about 5 years old, and when certain weather conditions apply it is the newer of the two that has sever interference only on channel seven, the older one is fine.

All other channels are fine, both TV's have the same quality cabling and if it were the Antenna it would happen on both TV's, not just one.

So I am suspecting that maybe the quality or the internal components of the newer TV is inferior than the older TV, I really have no idea but it is a thought .

Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated, thank you.

Hi Leon,
using each remote control - can you go to:
menu
signal information

and tell us the strength and quality figures for both TVs -
for when the signals for both are good,
and also when the "weather" causes them to drop out on one TV?

try using the bad TV without the splitter:
