It was a well-timed break from the many nights of cloud we've had since December. We watched it with a Telementor at low powers and a pair of 7x50s. There was a window during which the darkening sky's deep blue provided an especially nice colour contrast to the red of the umbral shadow on the Moon. That would have been the defining feature of this event for us
