did the earth move????

got this one from my sister she was told that after the big earthquake last year that the earth moved 2 deg on its axis im being very sceptical about this one but im just womdering if anyone has herd anything similar

If that was true everybody would know about it, especially astronomers who would have to throw out all their charts. Such a shift would be cause significant changes in weather patterns and be a greater disaster than any earthquake.

I heard this being said on a program about the tsanami that the earth did move, but did it move or did it wobble so it is still in the same position??
