C/2024 g3 ATLAS

Hi All,

It's been a while since I've posted here. I thought there would be more attempts posted of this comet by now.
Anyway, here is my attempt from last night.
3x2sec exp, ISO 800, Canon 7D, 100mm f5 Sky-Watcher.
Addition, stretching and cropping in AstroArt V6 and further fiddling in Paint.

Well worth the post! West of the dividing range helped get you some clear skies than many.

Clear tonight in Sydney til 11pm if anyone wants a go...I'm hoping to give it another crack. COBS data seems to imply its holding steady with longer tale.
Forget that, within minutes of writing that the Sydney weather curse has struck very predictable- unless you forecast weather apparently...

Nice shot Jeff. Note that the bright condensed head is missing.

Reports are coming in that the head has disintegrated over the past 36 hrs. Your image illustrates this beautifully.
