I'm posting here rather than the equipment listings as it's more likely to be useful to a complete beginner.
I'm donating my Meade Lx200 8" Classic with wedge and field tripod, original foam cut carry case, all is perfect condition; to anyone willing to drive to my home, in Melbourne (Warranwood) to pick it up.

Why not sell it?
Because I have two remote telescope installations in Chile and NSW and the Meade has been sitting is a wardrobe for 10 years, unused.
I've got more astro imaging equipment than I know what to do with and I'd rather see the Lx200 get some love from a budding, young astronomer or a dad that wants to show his kids the planets.
