NGC 2070 in colour mapped Ha / OIII

My original intent here was to shoot 4~8h per channel of SIII Ha and OIII, however after processing just 4h each of Ha and OIII in pretty satisfied with my outcome..

Askar 120APO with 1x flattener (840mm focal length)
ZWO ASI1600MM Pro
Astronomik 6nm Ha/OIII filters
Emcan Astro EM31 Pro mount..

48x300s Ha
48x300s OIII
30x Darks
20x Flats

Alex,
That’s a fine image of the Tarantula although background seems a tad too dark for my taste ( not many stars for a star forming region ) and I reckon there’s so much more detail to expose ( only my opinion)
Maybe try a HOO composite as it would definitely provide more contrast in colour across the image with pockets of Oiii.
Well done !!

Thanks for the comments Martin,

Here's a more traditional HOO rendition

Alex,
Another fine image but for a HOO there’s no hints of the typical Blue / Green hues that relate to the Oiii channel
This HOO is primarily red hues across the whole image ?
Your original image of just “HO only” had both the reddish hues of Ha and the blue/ green hues of Oiii.
In any case Narrowband false palettes are always subjective and open to various renditions and choice.

Cheers
Martin
