Jupiter tweaked with WinJUPOS

Hi all

My effort from last night, which was more on focusing technique then data as weather condition are not quite right for that lucky shot.

Look to have figured a method of gaining best focus through dropping the gain so as to get a bit of contrast. Plus FireCapture has a Screen adjustment feature which allows you to alter the appearance of the preview screen without affecting the recorded data. This is particularly useful to boost the contrast to help with focusing on inherently low contrast objects.

Collected 11 video files converted to 11 images totalling 2500 frames each with AutoStakkert. Sharpened with Registax and the new addition to the processing family is WinJUPOS for de-rotation and GIMP for the final tweak.

The images are getting better but still soft, this is probably due to unstable weather. Jetstream for Wednesday and Thursday is looking better.

Cheers
