I have upgraded my mount, therefore I need to move on some equipment. This beautifully machined and anodised aluminium pier plate is in need of a new home. Bought from Dan's Pier Plates in the USA. It has served me extremely well, and still looks near pristine.
The price of these is above US$200 plus shipping from the USA, so the value is about $500 AUD. The links below show the web site where I purchased the pier plate. The centre bolt is included. Simply place the HEQ5 on the pier plate and tighten the supplied centre bolt for a rock solid connection. The only items not included are the 4 inch aluminium risers, which can be substituted with 3/8" stainless steel threaded rod, and stainless steel nuts to join to a base plate, and adjust for level.

The photographs below show what is for sale. The asking price is $250 plus shipping, or pick up from Ulladulla NSW. I will also consider delivery to Nowra or Wollongong. I also have a 3/8" adaptor for attaching a Star Adventurer or similar to an HEQ5 tripod (or this pier plate) in another ad.
