My first Webcam Jupiter attempt

After the massive Newcastle storm I finally got to test out the Phillips Toucam I got. about 90 secs of video, 2.8 three element barlow, the Toucam, I downloaded Registax and pretty much put it on automatic then fiddled with the wavelet sliders, then upsampled it by about 2x

10 inch f5.6 newtonian. (Full thickness Pyrex Sutching mirror)

I will have to learn Registax more, some grading round the edges but otherwise Im happy enough with it, the GRS convienently in view too
Taken round midnight. No mirror cooling and some noticable thermal distortion (will have to see about fixing that )

cant remember what causes onion rings, but you have them bad. i think its in your capture settings tho.... no doubt one of the gurus will sort ya out.
