filament lift off - 14.10.2024

Hello solarobserver,

Hello solar observers,
here are two images of the beautiful rise of a filament on October 14, 2024 at the western limb. A lot of data was collected on this day, which I still want to evaluate in bad weather - mosaics, velocity determinations, detailed studies over time etc...

What a detailed image set, Harald. The pictures are beautiful to look at. And you get a lot of science data as well!

Hello Richard, Peter,

thank you very much for your answers. The solar observation season continues here in Germany until the end of October. I want to make the most of every minute until then. The solar telescope has been working very stably for a few weeks now and produces good images even at this larger aperture. It is the best telescope I have built so far.

Thanks for your answers.

... Yes, we have little significance in the universe.
