Sketch and observation form

For those of you that like to sketch and record your observations, I have made a new template. I've put in a generous sized 105mm diameter sketch FOV circle, sections for noting conditions, instrument and object data and a a few lines to allow yo to describe your observation in detail.

The reason behind this - well, my current sketch forms have a large enough FOV circle and spaces to describe the instrument and conditions, but no room for your own descriptions. This forced me to use a seperate page which takes up room in my folders and is generally inconvenient. Other sketch forms, which have room for ample descriptions, have a sketch template that's too small! The days of Ramsden and Hygens eyepieces are over!

So I took it upon myself to create a form that has a large sketch template with spaces for all required data and description in a neat all-in-one package.

The file is JPEG format, I've saved it large enough so you can manipulate its dimensions to your liking in MS paint or whatever.

Just open the attachment and save it to your computer.

I wont be doing flash drawings but this is perfect for me.
I keep meaning to record camera details (it takes ages sorting thru raws in Photo shop ..this will change that) with the info the form seeks...
very handy indeed. Thanks for taking the time to share it with us.
