Selling my Askar ACL 200mm f4 apochromatic camera lens, in like new condition, with original box and soft case. Hard to find a mark on it. Selling due to lack of time and non-use since purchase, so it should go to someone who will use it. My available astro time has been focused on longer focal lengths, so I don't have any saved & finished example images to share with this lens I'm sorry.
Lenses are spotless with no marks. The optics feature 2 ED elements with integrated field flattener and support full frame cameras. Reference optical test diagrams for spot size and chromatic aberration are available online to give you an idea of performance.
All metal construction, weighs 1.8kg, very well built and designed for astrophotography with astro cameras. has a rear 48mm thread camera mount, metal end cap and internal 48mm filter holder, additional micro focusing ring, stepless aperture ring, Vixen saddle mount base and piggyback dovetail clamp mount. Also includes new Hoya Pro UV filter on front.
A single frame image example image added from 13 September, taken with Sony A7iii full frame camera, 3seconds at F4 unfiltered and ISO 3200. Image downscaled a bit, contrast adjusted and focus done fairly quickly via the viewfinder. Not sharpened. Taken under a bright city sky with half moon adjacent.
