Have one of these in excellent condition a 2005 which has all the high end materials used in building every bit as good as the USA built D50 reason for sale is I have a Yamaha FG5 and is the only one I seem to pick up as it suits my playing style so selling a few guitars will take $1,000 plus shipping
The Guild GAD-50 "Dreadnought" style body as beautifully crafted with solid Indian Rosewood for the back and sides, a solid spruce top that features scalloped bracing, and then joined the one piece mahogany neck with the traditional dovetail neck joint. For other appointments on the GAD-50 Guild uses Indian Rosewood for the fingerboard and bridge. Guild continued the use of high quality tone woods by featuring ebony for the pearl dot inlayed bridge and strap pins, then added wood bindings, and Grover Rotomatic tuning gears. For the best in tone and intonation, Guild installed a bone nut and bone compensated saddle. For the finishing touches the GAD-50 has classic pearl fingerboard inlays and comes with a wooden arched case. The GAD-50 is a guitar worthy of representing over 50 years of fine guitar building by Guild® Guitars.
