4th August Sun

Hi

Attached are a Ha image of the sun captured on the 4th August, and another image at 1.57A a little further into the red to show some of the current sunspots.

All taken through an ED100 telescope at f/9 + SHG.

Seeing varied from 2.4" to 3.6" and some persistent high cloud was present throughout.

cheers
Maurice

Superb contrast. Just excellent.

I might have to investigate the SHG pathway
