The OAG couples a camera body to an SCT rear cell and diverts a small amount of light via a right-angle prism to check for tracking errors, using a 1.25" illuminated reticule eyepiece (not included, see my other ad under eyepieces).
The slip ring attaches directly to 2"-18 threaded rear cells of Celestron or Meade 5-14" SCT's. The OAG prism position can be adjusted for precise alignment to an individual telescope. This is a vintage item with Japanese precision engineering and optics.
